On Network Signal

Description

Fires when a signal sent with the networkSignal mechanic arrives. What runs it depends on the signal's target:

Target Runs on
all The mobs with a ~onNetworkSignal line, on every server, the sender included
server:NAME The mobs with a ~onNetworkSignal line, on that server
A player That player, on the server they are on

For all and server:NAME it is a mob trigger and never runs on players. For a player it is a player trigger and never runs on mobs. To run skills on players for any target, use the events.signal lists of the Paper config. Skill Variables lists the variables it sets.

This trigger requires MythicMobs Premium!

~onNetworkSignal:NAME does not filter by name. MythicMobs ignores the text after the colon, so the line runs for every signal. Compare <skill.var.signal> with a condition instead, as in the example. stringequals is case-sensitive, so BossKill does not match bosskill.

Examples

Only the bosskill signal starts the line. In the mob file:

Herald:
  Type: COW
  Skills:
  - message{m="Hear ye! <skill.var.signal-payload> slew the boss on <skill.var.origin-server>."} @PlayersInRadius{r=20} ~onNetworkSignal ?stringequals{val1=<skill.var.signal>;val2=bosskill}
